Forum usage instructions - how to read and post messages

Okay. Some of you have said that http://aestheteka.forumwise.com is a little difficult to use when you first start posting.
Here are a few pointers to help you out.

The first page (the Index or Portal page) is where you’ll find the latest headlines and stories, features, etc. This tells you what’s going on and who’s online at the moment.
On the left hand side you’ll see RECENT POSTS. This tells you what’s currently being said and by whom. To go directly to that thread, just click on the underlined link which is its title.
To go to one of the main features – those that are in the centre of the page, go to the bottom of the story and click on where it reads: Comments(2) :: More >> MESSAGE TITLE

To get inside the Forum proper, the link is on the top left hand page of the Index/Portal page. Click on FORUM. Once inside, you just need to click on what message board you want to visit – Open Muse, Bizarre, etc.

To reply to a message, there are two buttons – POST and REPLY, both at the top and the bottom of each page. To create a totally new post, click POST. To reply to a current message, click REPLY. This will bring you to an empty box, with the previous replies in a box underneath. You can scroll through them to read if you need to refer to something in a ‘quote’.
To send your reply, click on the button labeled SUBMIT. By clicking PREVIEW, you can check what your message looks like before submitting it (remember to press SUBMIT afterwards though!)
If you’re created a new topic, you’ll need to give it a title. If you forget, the message board will remind you.

Private Messages are located at the top of every page, just beneath the large Aestheteka graphic. If you hover your pointer over the icon, it’ll tell you if you have any messages or not. To reply to a message, the format is the same as to reply to a message in the forums.
To send a PM to someone when they haven’t sent one to you first, find their NAME anywhere in the forums – or in the WHO’s ONLINE box on the Portal page. Click on it to read their PROFILE, and then click on PRIVATE MESSAGE PM. Follow the same method as with a forum.
Note – you can only access someone’s profile, or PM them, if their name has an underscore (if it’s underlined).

Note - you may only reply to posts until you've lost your 'Observed' satus. After that, you'll be able to create your own posts.

When you create a new thread can you please put it in the relevant forum and not just lump everything in Open Muse.
