I certainly enjoy playing violin. It's an amazing solo instrument and can be applied to a million genres in the right hands. Combined with other violins, it becomes an amazing voice in chorus as well. I just wish I were better at it. _________________ Bad grammar makes me [sic] |

| I think it's just great that you play the violin,I R. Not to many people you run into can make that claim.I have a son that is 8 years old and have asked him several times if he would be interested in playing the violin, but he doesn't seem to care for the idea. When i was younger I played drums and was in a Garage Band, some of the best years of my life. |

I bet you can convert a kid to violin with Celtic or country music. Classical violin uses the E string too much, and with notes too close to the bridge to sound that appealing to the common ear. Fiddle solos are what the violin has been used most masterfully for, in my opinion. _________________ Bad grammar makes me [sic] |

| I can agree with the Celtic music part , but am not a big fan of country music.Would much rather listen to some Paganini.Besides it was rumored He sold his soul to the devil to play so good ,and i think that is a bit interesting. |

I love playing. I am currently searching for a replacement violin, but so far nothing has come up in my range right now. (Can't buy one on babyfood jars unfortunately lol).
I grew up playing classical, but later developed a taste for Jazz. I would love to play the celtic music though as it does have a unique sound. _________________ "Weaken a bad habit by avoiding everything that occasioned it or stimulated it, without concentrating upon it in your zeal to avoid it. | Pretty cool that you play the violin too. Seems like the Aestheteka group is a pretty talented bunch. |

So it's country music then. Perhaps in your countries. In Poland it's a great deal. I mean the irish music like "Secret Garden" and celtic like Loreena McKennitt. Has anyone heard of them? I think they're amazing. _________________
