| it seems to me like everything you can think of is broken down into White and Black. but the one that transcends and contains both these is Grey. Didn't Crowley say The Word of Sin is Restriction? Take the good with bad , the Holy with the Evil, the Tragedy with the Comedy.in the end ,you don't have a choice anyways ,Fate will turn you over to Destiny eventually. So, take what you can and make it serve you.Pray to The Kristos while dancing with Diabolos, cover all your bases! If god won't help us ,then the devil must! and vice-versa! |

Reading your post there got me thinking. Imagine a world where everything was truely good, or a world where all was completely evil.
Which would be worse?
How long would the evil world last? |

If the world were only good/evil, we wouldn't perceive it as good or evil. If there weren't any contraries, we wouldn't be able to compare it to anything and say if we'd like this world or not. It'd be just the world. _________________

| that's why a Heaven or Hell seems so strange to me . How can one be all good and one all evil? there's nothing here on earth to base that on, nobody no matter how bad is all evil .Hitler was a real animal lover, but most people would have no problems categorizing him as evil. the same with the Dalai Lama .i'm sure at some point in his life he's wished ill on someone.i guess we can try to do the best we can , but to be good to all people and at all times is impossible.i guess that 'do unto others as they do unto you is as good as it gets." |

I've never been able to view things as just "White" and "Black". I suppose it is why I enjoyed the character of Gandalf so much was that he transcended into all areas from Good to Evil, to Heaven and to Hell. Of course, that is open to literary interpretation of his character lol. _________________ "Weaken a bad habit by avoiding everything that occasioned it or stimulated it, without concentrating upon it in your zeal to avoid it.
